Join us as we discuss the status of teen pregnancy and childbearing in the U.S. with a focus on the role of parental involvement in adolescent healthcare and sexual health decision making.

Target Audience

This training is appropriate for nurses, health educators, family planning clinic staff, social workers, and parents.

Contact Hours

Participants can earn 1.5 nursing contact hours and 1.5 CHES contact hours for a $10 processing fee.

HCET is an approved provider of nursing continuing education by the Indiana State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

HCET is a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.

Audio Teleconferences with Optional Presentation Material Audio/Web Conferencing

Audio/web conferencing allows participants easy access to important topics without having to travel far or be out of the office for an extended period of time.

Participation

  1. Please register with HCET.
  2. Reserve a location that is quiet and convenient.
  3. Download the training documents prior to the start of the conference.
  4. The dial-in number will be sent to you via email 2-3 days before the program.
  5. Dial-in approximately 10 minutes before the start of the training using the toll-free number provided and enter the conference code when prompted (the training WILL start on time).  We encourage the use of speaker phones for multiple listeners.
